Orthodox Parish, Holy Prophet Elias, Exeter and Combe Martin, Devon

The Parish of the Holy Prophet Elias is one of the many of the Deanery of Great Britain and Ireland and one of many parishes of the Russian Tradition in Western Europe that are under the omophorion of His All-holiness Bartholomew, the Ecumenical Patriarch.

Our senior bishop is Archbishop Gabrriel of Comana, who lives in Paris, and is the Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarch. Our local Dean is Fr. John Marks.

English is the main liturgica language of our community, although some Greek and Slavonic are also normally used. We follow the New (Revised Julian) Calendar.
