RAY WHITE
We are saddened to report the death of Ray White on Friday of Bright Week. He had been the Warden of our little chapel for many years and was an example of what a Church Warden should be. He was always most supportive of the parish priest and took his responsibility for the smooth running of services very seriously. He was active in the up-keep and cleaning of the building, which he had reconstructed single-handedly.
Besides his Warden's duties, he was the server at Combe Martin. He will be sorely missed by everyone, especially the small children with whom he had a particular bond.
Ray leaves a widow, Scilla; daughters Ann, Sarah, Catherine, Tamara and Anna; grandchildren Ian, Angela, Alexander, Joseph, Natasha and Philip. His latest grandchild, Matthew Raymond, Anna's first-born, was born on Thomas Sunday.
May he rest in the glory of the risen Lord!

FUNERALS
30th October 2007 – at St. Anne's. Peter Alan Norman, who died on 24th October. The burial took place on 2nd November at Hendon Cemetery, London.
